Diecutting is a process in which shapes are cut press into foam using a specialist cutting knife. The knife is created as a series of specially fabricated blades which are inserted into a plywood block to create a shape of the products or components which will be held in the foam. This method of creating customised foam interiors achieves a repeatedly accurate, high quality finish at a competitive price.
Eggbox Profile Foam is a flexible open cell polyurethane foam.
It is also called an egg box foam, zig zag foam, wavy foam or convoluted foam. The purpose of use can be product protection, packaging, sound proofing, etc. It can be made in various base and rise measurements.
